A charismatic blending of soulful song and arty electronica, the duo (D2E) is NYC based songwriter Eleanor Dubinsky and experimental composer David Morneau. Drawn together by a mutual interest in challenging the boundaries of musical genres and moving beyond familiar forms, Eleanor and David have created (D2E):EP1, a debut EP of new songs that range from a musical remix of Shakespeare combined with contemporary poetry to a call to action inspired by the current famine in Somalia. (D2E):EP1 is dedicated to David's one-year old daughter, Mathilda, whose birth and first year of life gave inspiration to the creation of this material.
